We have had so much fun learning about space! We have been keeping in touch with an astronaut, Dan Galaxy, through emails and letters. he has told us all about his travels and we have solved lots of problems about doubling and halving for him whilst he's been in space. We've worked out how much food he and his friend will need, helped him to half the length of his rope and created 'double aliens' by printing one alien twice. We've also been discovering which 3D shapes lie beneath the surface of different planets and finding out lots of facts about our solar system. We've made rockets and space ships, been on space adventures, drawn and described aliens and even made our own fiddly fingers activity! We've been really busy!
